My name is Payton Simer and I am a third year Mechanical Engineering major at Northeastern University, with minors in both Sustainable Business and Mathematics. My passions lie in mechanical design, manufacturing processes, and process improvement, with hands-on experience in CAD modeling, prototyping, and cross-functional collaboration.

In my last co-op role at Raytheon as an Operations Engineer, I designed mechanical solutions and streamlined manufacturing workflows for PCB assembly. I gained valuable experience in mechanical design validation, cross-functional collaboration, and process optimization within a high-stakes manufacturing environment.

I am currently seeking my next co-op opportunity for Fall 2025, where I can apply these technical skills and contribute to innovative engineering projects.
